Tour Description

​

Chen Clan Academy which was built in 1888--1894, also named the pearl of Architecture of South China, characterized by the seven different traditional building decorations, such as brick carving, stone carving, pottery sculpture, lime sculpture, colorful painting, line drawing, iron–cast painting.
​
Shamian Island--a small island with a total area of merely 0.3 square kilometers. It was British and French settlement in 1859 and back to China in 1945. It is mainly famous for its buildings in 19th century European architectural style.
